Frequently Asked Questions

What camera equipment and lenses should I bring?
A wide-angle zoom and a standard zoom cover most subjects, from Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh's limestone landscapes to village scenes and environmental portraits. A 70-200mm lens is useful for isolating patterns in the tea hills, photographing fishermen from a distance, and capturing tighter portraits. Bring a tripod for sunrise and low-light sessions, along with rain protection for your equipment. Detailed packing advice is provided in your Guest Portal.
What weather should I prepare for?
Be prepared for sunshine, rain, and changing conditions throughout the journey. Rain protection for both you and your camera equipment is recommended. Mist at Long Coc and clear sunrise conditions depend on the weather and cannot be guaranteed. We adjust photography sessions where practical to make the most of local conditions. Departure-specific preparation advice is provided in the Useful Information section of your Guest Portal.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Please record any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or preferences in your Travel Profile in the Guest Portal. We will review your requirements and coordinate with hotels and restaurants where possible. If you have a severe allergy or a strict dietary requirement, please contact us before booking to discuss what can be accommodated.
Should I tell you about any health conditions?
Please include relevant health conditions, mobility limitations, or other needs in your Travel Profile in the Guest Portal. If you may require specific assistance or have concerns about participating in photography sessions, please discuss these with us before booking so we can assess the arrangements together.
Where can I find practical information before the tour?
